Skinny Versus Healthy

With the obesity epidemic growing each day, many people think that we all need to strive to be skinny. What many people do not realize is that there is a big difference between being skinny and being healthy.
Why skinny does not mean healthy.
While being obese greatly increases your risk of diabetes, heart problems, and even cancer, being thin does not mean that you are safe. Many people are skinny, but they lack the key nutrients in their diet needed to stay healthy. This is often caused by unsafe diets, which greatly restrict what foods you can eat. An example is the vegan diet. While many people are able to find vegan protein sources that work for them, many vegans do not get enough protein in their diet. Vegetarians often have this problem too, but they have more options for protein sources. Many people are also born with extremely fast metabolisms, and they actually struggle to gain weight. These people are referred to as ectomorphs. These people tend to remain skinny, and they may look healthy, but that does not mean that they are healthy. If they do not exercise, or eat properly, they can still suffer from diabetes, heart disease, malnutrition, and more.

The end goal that most people strive for is skinny and healthy. The problem is that they often focus more on the skinny, and less on the healthy. When you put your energy into eating healthy, and taking care of your body, the end results will be a healthy body weight, improved overall healthy, and of course, the confidence and self-esteem that come along with loving the way you look.
While there are mind blowing amounts of "miracle" diet pills, and "scientific breakthrough" pieces of fitness equipment, that can be ignored. Most of the pills will either dehydrate you, which means that you are losing nothing but water weight, or they send your heart rate through the roof to increase your metabolism, which can do all sorts of damage to your body. In reality, you need to focus on 2 things. Exercise and nutrition. When you take in the proper nutrients that your body needs, and you workout regularly, your will start to become more healthy, which leads to weight loss, which leads to being both skinny and healthy. So, remember to focus less on just being skinny, and more on taking care of yourself. The end results will be a healthier, skinnier you!
shakeology is the only nutritional supplement that I typically recommend to people. It is all natural, and instead of dehydrating you or sending your heart rate through the roof, it helps because it scores an incredible 24 on the glycemic index. That means that it helps keep your blood sugar level, prevent cravings and hunger pains, and it is also loaded with nutrients. You can also to learn how to save 25% on, what many people call, "The healthiest meal of the day".
